The Red Clay Strays at Duling Hall on Thursday, September 8

With a sound as classic as the crackling of a Sun Records vinyl still spinning somewhere in Memphis, yet as fresh as the musical stylings of the 21st century, The Red Clay Strays are busy making waves with their genre-bending brand of tunes.

With influences ranging from Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jerry Lee Lewis and Waylon Jennings to southern gospel, they blur the line between country and southern rock while bringing an authenticity that defines who the Red Clay Strays are as a band. Their debut album Moment of Truth reflect that unique sound as well as the high energy that’s found in their live shows. “We’re not really a jam band, we respect the composure of the music…the twelve songs on the record have a lot of moral fiber to them. Hopefully, when people hear the songs they will know that they are not alone or that they can party, too.”

Doors – 6:30pm | Show – 7:30pm

Listen to their newest album, Moment of Truth (2022) , and watch their recent music video, Stone’s Throw, to get a sneak peek at the show you’ll be seeing at Duling Hall on September 8th!
